Based on my multiple wings recipe, I assume that you already know how much I love wings. They’re just so delicious, just writing this post is making my mouth water. On my blog so far, I’ve made LongHorn Steakhouse Wings and Lemon Pepper Wings but not the original Buffalo Wings, so here I am bringing you the best buffalo wings recipe. I’ve been into making my own wings at home for a while now and I try to switch up the recipe from time to time just to test out new flavors, but I always seem to come back to this recipe. It is a pretty straight forward recipe but trust me when I say this is literally the easiest yet most flavorful, along with money-saving, wings ever. This recipe is from BettyCook on Allrecipes. I definitely recommend you to try this out and tell me how much you love them down below!
Buffalo Wings
Cook Time: 40 minutes Serves: 20
Ingredients:
For Seasoning:
- Chicken wings
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp hot chili powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
For Frying:
- Oil
For Sauce:
- Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp butter – melted
Directions:
- In a bowl, whisk together your seasonings such as flour, salt, black pepper, hot chili powder, and garlic powder.
- In another bowl, whisk your egg and milk together.
- Cut the wings from the joints.
- Dip each wing to the egg mixture then into the flour mixture. After it’s been dipped, place it into a cookie sheet that is lined with parchment paper (optional).
- Repeat this with the rest of the wings.
- Once done, place these in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
- Heat up your oil. Once hot, fry these until the skin becomes golden, about 5 to 6 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine your melted butter and hot sauce.
Pat dry any excess oil with a paper towel once the wings are done. Then add them into the hot sauce mixture. When done, you’re ready to dig in!
